WW1 Blue Plaque Walk

To mark the centenary of WW1 in 2018 Ombersley Memorial Hall was awarded a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to create a series of projects remembering those who lived in Ombersley throughout the war.

This project involves exploring the village of Ombersley on foot. To get started you need to get yourself a copy of the leaflet. You can follow this on your smart phone however in this case, because the map covers quite a large area, we recommend you get a hard copy or download the print the PDF files from this page.

Starting from Sinton Lane near Ombersley Cricket Club (where there is ample on-road parking) follow the trail along the eastern side of the main street, more or less as far as Ombersley Medical Centre, then cross the road to the western side and retrace your steps back to the Cricket Club.
