Martin Davis tells the story, both of a building with its collections, and of an extended family over a 400-year period. From Worcestershire in the middle of England, individual members travelled to Italy, Brazil, Russia, India and Africa, and left a rich legacy of journals, letters and albums, found at Ombersley on the last occupant’s death in 2015. The Royal British Legion in conjunction with St. Andrew's Church, Ombersley has organised an Act of Remembrance this Sunday, 9th November, at 10.45am at the War Memorial ,which is open to all to attend.![]()
A parade will also commence from the Crown & Sandy's carpark at 10.40am. We would like to encourage as many people as possible who live in the area to take part in the parade. Perhaps you are a serving member or a family member who wishes to represent their loved ones who served. Lest We Forget.
