The Funeral of Basil Lamb
is taking place at St Andrew’s Church on Friday 9th July at 2pm and the hearse will travel through the village to the church on the afternoon of Thursday 8th July at around 4.30pm to allow people to pay their respects at the roadside if they wish. Basil will, therefore, be in church as people arrive for the funeral, as he would always have been. St Andrew’s will be open, prior to the funeral, on Friday morning from 10-12 if you wish to pay respects in church.

All places within the church for the funeral service have been allocated but the service sound will be relayed into the churchyard and refreshments will be available there afterwards.
