Over the weekend The Old Chancel, the remaining fragment of the medieval church in the churchyard, will be open to visitors. Converted to be the Sandys family mausoleum in the 19th century, it is now used for a service only once a year on Easter morning.

In Heritage Week, Morning Prayer will be held in this ancient place of worship
at 9.30am on the 13th, 14th, 15th and 17th. All are welcome

and from 2-4pm there will be a special “Traditional English Afternoon Tea”,
